Solar Inverters
Victron Energy Hybrid Chargers
The inverter has these functions:
Invert direct current to alternating current.
Also protect delicate electronic equipment (computers, televisions, medical equipment, etc.), because the output voltage of the inverter is more stable than the public electrical grid.
The inverters do not require maintenance. (See also technical operating details).
Inverters for solar energy
Inverters or also called converters produce alternating current (for example 120 V AC volts alternating current) from the voltage of the batteries of the solar photovoltaic system (with for example 24 V DC volts direct current).
In other words, the inverter makes it possible to use “normal” electrical equipment that requires alternating current, e.g. 120 VAC. The inverter in an off-grid solar system uses a bank of batteries that are recharged by the solar panels.

What is an Inverter or Inverter - Charger?
An inverter or inverter/charger is a device that converts direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) to power a variety of equipment, including: power tools, computers, appliances, pumps, audio/video equipment, and more.
Important Inverter and Inverter/Charger Features
* Conversion from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC).
* Mobile AC source: portable and permanently mounted.
* Higher wattage models can power multiple devices simultaneously.
Compact/Lightweight Inverters
Compact/lightweight inverters are smaller and feature continuous wattage output for mobile business, travel, camping/boating, and trucking applications. They are ideal for powering laptops, cell phone chargers, gaming systems, DVD players and other low-wattage devices.
How to buy an Inverter or Investor
We offer a wide variety of inverters and Inverter/chargers suitable for your specific application. When choosing an inverter or inverter - charger, you should consider the following:
When you have utility-supplied power, inverter/chargers automatically pass power to your equipment while simultaneously recharging connected batteries. When utility power is not available, such as during a blackout in stationary applications or while driving in mobile applications, the inverters automatically switch from utility power to battery backup power.
Inverters and inverter/chargers use a vehicle or boat battery, or separate user-supplied batteries to power connected equipment. Additionally, the inverter/charger provides reliable alternating AC during utility power problems such as blackouts, brownouts, and surges.
* Some models have remote control compatibility through a module.
*Inverters and inverter/chargers are typically used in mobile applications that do not have utility AC. To understand their applications, you need to look at the different types of inverters and inverter/chargers.
* Maximum wattage voltage output to handle starting high-drain equipment.
*Its efficiency is rated greater than 90% to ensure that more battery power is used to power connected equipment.
* Low battery auto shut-off feature ensures that battery power is always available to start the vehicle.
* Microprocessor controlled stable output to help the equipment perform at its best.
* Controlled frequency output on most models that allows you to plug in the widest variety of equipment.
* Most models feature up to 200% continuous output for up to 10 seconds to meet the need for extra power when starting high-powered equipment and tools.
* Most models feature up to 150% continuous output for up to 1 hour to provide reliable support for equipment and tools for longer periods of time.
* The 3-stage battery charger on inverter/charger models recharges batteries faster than conventional chargers.
Inverters
Inverter/chargers are reliable power supplies for uninterruptible emergency backup applications. When using utility-supplied power, inverter/chargers automatically pass power to your equipment while simultaneously recharging connected batteries. When utility power is not available, such as during a blackout in stationary applications or while driving in mobile applications, inverter chargers automatically switch from utility power to battery backup power. The inverter/chargers are designed for EMS, RV and other applications that need reliable battery backup while on the road.
High Power Inverters
High power inverters are designed for industrial applications, fleet vehicles, construction sites, trucks and camping/boating. They provide maximum wattage voltage outputs to handle high-drain starting of equipment such as drills, saws, pumps, timing motors and others.
