MultiPlus II Inverter
Victron Energy Hybrid
MultiPlus-II
The MultiPlus-II inverter / charger combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.
It has all the features of the MultiPlus and also the option of installing an external current transformer to enable PowerControl and PowerAssist and to optimize self-consumption with an external current sensor (max. 32A).
It also has all the features of MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and a growing list of countries that have already approved it.
Models:
3000 VA - 5000 VA - 8000 VA - 10000 VA - 15000 VA
ESS: Energy Storage System
The MultiPlus-II is the key component of a Victron ESS system, offering the flexibility to combine it with MPPT solar chargers or grid-tied PV inverters. Examples and more detailed information can be found in the ESS (Energy Storage System) Manual.
Uninterrupted alternating current (UPS function)
In the event of a blackout, or disconnection of the shore power or generator, the inverter integrated into the Multi is automatically activated and assumes the supply to power the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to function without interruption.
PowerAssist
The MultiPlus-II can prevent overloads from a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power outlet. First, it will automatically reduce the battery charge when failure to do so would result in overcharging. Secondly, it will draw current from the battery to compensate for power from the generator or the electrical grid.
Remote monitoring and control
If you pair it with a GX device (e.g. a Cerbo GX) you can monitor and control your Multi and its system(s) locally (LAN) or remotely over the Internet from anywhere in the world with the free VRM app and the free VRM portal. Access can be carried out from a phone, a tablet or a PC with different operating systems. There is no limit to the level of control, from adjusting your Multi to automatically starting a standby generator and much more...
